No doubt there are readers who would have thought that this would be the main focus of this book. It is true that there are a dozen or more sales "tactics" that can certainly be propitious to your sales efforts, but having a solid overall strategy is more important than any simple tactic. And knowledge of the product and a sincere desire to help the consumer find the best wine for their money is always the best strategy.
Nevertheless, I would be remiss if I didn't provide at least some tactics to help from time to time...
